Elaine [guest] asks, "Could you resend the web page projection, I got lost
and missed it?"

BernieD asks, "The one thing I wondered about was whether the kids would
wander too far afield through all those great links on the
Process page. Were you able to keep them on task?"

JaniceF asks, "It is so cool to talk to you when you are really doing it.
How is it working?"

MarcaB [guest] says, "Looks great Marcia. How are your students doing with
time? Will they finish by the end of summer school?""

BJB [HelpDesk] shows Elaine the URL:
http://schoolweb.missouri.edu/nixa.k12.mo.us/sullivan/safariwebquest/index.htm

Marcia [guest] says, "Before we started they were given specific directions
about using the links provided. Now these kids have
had little experience with computers, unlike my
regular emintsclass, so maybe that is why they have
stayed focused well on their animal. We are on the
section in which we make our graph and will do that
tomorrow."

BernieD says, "I've put together a little table that summarizes some of
what makes a K-3 WebQuest tick."

BernieD says, "Here it is:"

Marcia [guest] exclaims, "Someone asked about the task, the main task is to
gain knowledge about the animals, and present what
they have learned. Is there a better way to
express this - any suggestions would be great!"

ShayneR says, "I really like the task. Writing riddles is a great way of
using facts about the animals. And I like the
graphing/comparison of the 5 animals-- good use of technology
to organize information-- and you can imagine a safari guide
actually giving you that sort of information, which makes it
kind of "real life"."

KarenRL asks, "Is it better for you to choose the animals, or have the
students choose them?"

BernieD says, "We're running out of time, gang. If you would like a
transcript, please type out your e-mail address right now."

BJB says, "I'll edit emailsout of the transcripts"

KarenRL says, "camaraife@aol.com"

ShayneR says, "yes, please (transcript) - srussell@voicenet.com"

Elaine [guest] says, "efitzgerald@stcharles.k12.la.us"
