etc. Any indication"

JeffC came in late but wonders what the crowd thinks about websites that
do math operations for you, or balance chemistry equations.

BernieD says, "Ah... last year we switched the templates over to a frame
based version. It allows the teachers to work on one small
part at a time... less daunting that way."

NancyHW has arrived.
JeffreyT says, "Also kids don't like long pages with too much text.
They turn off."

JamesBS says, "It definitely chunks the information better."

JanetMO says, "And it's easy to get around."

BernieD [to Davidjb [guest]]: "Yes, the directions for assembling will
be in there when it's done."

Scott [guest] says, "Quality"

KerryH asks, "Once the frames are completed is there a way to connect
them?"

Scott [guest] says, "Quality"

Judi just doesn't like to click(thanks for explaining... it does chunk
nicely)

Scott [guest] says, "Quality Circle techniques: short time frames, small
chunks, build on success"

BernieD [to KerryH]: "Well, you could just paste them into one long
page, but who wants to scroll through all that?"

BernieD says, "Good reference, Scott."

KerryH says, "It is for those like Judi that do not like to click."

JeffC nods in peril about JeffT's comment that students don't like pages
with too much text. Harper's has a good article this month about what
the Net is doing re: education... creating passive consumers rather than
active thinkers and questioners.

BernieD says, "In all the pages I show tonight, there will no doubt be
typos. These are still works in progress."

BernieD asks, "Ready to look at another?"

JanetMO exclaims, "Yes!"

ChristinaW says, "Of course."

Scott [guest] says, "The "passive" consumers are much more active than
we realize, see: "Growing Up Digital""

CarmenLR says, "Yes"

JamesBS says, "Sure."

KerryH says, "of course"
