For the last four years I've been involved with San Diego Unified School
District's two Challenge Grants (which are heavily about WebQuests).
More recently I've started work on a Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers to
Use Technology grant in which we'll be trying out some new ways to
introduce teachers to computing.

More than you'd ever want to know about me can be found at

BernieD asks, "Zat everyone?"

Judi waves (I'm Judi Fusco and I love WebQuests)

BJB [HelpDesk] hands the podium over to Bernie

JaniceF exclaims, "Hi, I am Janice and I am from Missouri!"

susieQ [guest] says, "I am with Janice our CIS for e-MINTS."

BernieD says, "OK... great to see you all, and especially old friends."

BernieD projects May01-1.

This month I thought we'd take a look at one particular type of
WebQuest; those wrapped around a creative product task. There are lots
of interesting examples. I think these might be the most enjoyable
WebQuests to teach and learn from because they're so open ended.

BernieD asks, "Everyone all set for astral projections?"

JaniceF says, "Ready"

BJB says, "let me do the sop"

BJB [HelpDesk] projects Projections.
---------------
When a URL is projected a new web window in addition to the TI text and
web window will open for everyone in the same room (don't be
surprised!). You can look at the site, bookmark it, and close it...as
long as you DO NOT CLOSE the TAPestry window (the one with the room map
(you will lose your link to TI if you do). When you're done looking,
come back to the text window.
---------------
PhilipAB [WebTeach] gets out his Oija board

BernieD says, "SOP away, BJ"

BJB says, "a reminder that you can also click on DETACH to make your
text window larger"

BJB asks, "everyone ready for the projection?"

JaniceF says, "ready"

KarenRL says, "ready."

JenW says, "eagerly awaiting"

FredSt says, "go"
