BernieD projects May01-2.
---------------
I've prepared a menu of these quests for us to munch on. Here 'tis.
---------------
BernieD projects the URL:

http://webquest.sdsu.edu/creativetasks.html
BernieD says, "Spend a minute looking it over but don't click away just
yet, por favor."

BernieD says, "OK... we won't be able to go through all these tonight,
but there's always tomorrow. (We'll always have Paris.)"

PhilipAB [WebTeach] has looked at the Radio Days WQ and really likes it.

BernieD says, "As you can see, creative teachers have come up with some
great things. The thing that tickles me is that when I
first started all this, it never occurred to me to do this
kind of lesson."

BJB . o O ( art teachers do it all the time )
BernieD says, "This whole category emerged from the wisdom of great
teachers out there."

BernieD says, "That sounds like a bumper sticker BJ."

KarenRL exclaims, "I liked Their Eyes Were Watching God. Nice!"

BJB [HelpDesk] grins

BernieD says, "Why don't we start with one of the plays. Take a look at
retelling the classic tales. It's a newish one."

BernieD projects the URL:

http://www.mtbaker.wednet.edu/schools/mbjh/somera/fairytale/

BernieD says, "It doesn't use the usual template, but it follows the
model pretty well."

JenW says, "Now that could be fun if they put the tape of their play up
on the internet:)"

BernieD says, "There are several separate creative products here, though
the play's the main one."

JenW says, "or pix's at least"

BernieD says, "Yes, Jen, just like the broadcasts that that station in
Branson did for the Radio Days quest."

JenW says, "and sharing of scripts.....very good idea"

BernieD says, "One might ask how this uses the Web.Seems as though it's
primarily used as a quick way to provide access to good
material, though it could mostly be printed out on paper."

BernieD says, "It's not like a lesson based on the latest photos from
Mars, by contrast. But I like it. What do you all think>"

JaniceF says, "I don't think that every webquest has to have a
multimedia product."
