Tonight I'd like us to focus on a specific subset of thinking skills:
deciding and judgment. I've lined up several examples of existing
WebQuests that engage those skills and I've found some very interesting
resources that will make it easier for us to teach these skills more
effectively in future WebQuests.

A bit of background first. Why are decision-making and judgment skills
important? Seems to me that there are several reasons...
|

1. We make decisions in everyday life, and sometimes have to reconcile
our choices with choices made by those around us.
|
 |
2. We expect professionals to have a rich set of decision-making
strategies. In a knowledge-based economy, that's largely what we're
paying for.
