Lightening with Graphic Converter
	1. You must first download and install Graphic Converter from Lemke Software onto your hard drive. It may be downloaded at Downloads.com (click here for a direct link to the GC download screen). Please note: This is a Mac-only product. 2. Once you have installed it, launch Graphic Converter (if using the trial version, you will have to wait 5 seconds) and open the image you wish to lighten,
	3. Find Picture on the Menu Bar, move down to Levels.
	4. Once you have activated the Levels menu, find the Input Levels sliding scale (indicated below).
	5. Move the right triangle towards the left until the desired lightness has been achieved. You will notice that you have a before and after window to help reference how much change has occurred.
	6. Save and insert lightened background into your web page.
