Lightening with Graphic Converter |

1. You must first download and install Graphic Converter from Lemke Software onto your hard drive. It may be downloaded at Downloads.com (click here for a direct link to the GC download screen). Please note: This is a Mac-only product.
2. Once you have installed it, launch Graphic Converter (if using the trial version, you will have to wait 5 seconds) and open the image you wish to lighten, |

3. Find Picture on the Menu Bar, move down to Levels. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
4. Once you have activated the Levels menu, find the Input Levels sliding scale (indicated below). |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
5. Move the right triangle towards the left until the desired lightness has been achieved. You will notice that you have a before and after window to help reference how much change has occurred.

|
|
|
|
|
6. Save and insert lightened background into your web page. |
